Kalliyath TMT, one of the eco-friendly TMT steel brands in India, organized several activities promoting sustainability in various parts of Kerala on the occasion of World Environment Day. These activities, involving various stakeholders including students, public, media and environmental activists, have further strengthened Kalliyam's commitment to a greener future.
Tree planting was organized at St. Paul's College in collaboration with students and teachers as part of the programmes. This activity was aimed at enhancing the participation of the younger generation in environmental protection and sustainable lifestyle.
Extending environmental protection activities beyond campuses, Beach Cleaning Drive was also organized at Fort Kochi. This activity, attended by volunteers and local communities, highlighted the importance of coastal environment conservation and public awareness of waste management.
Kalliyath also introduced a symbolic ‘TMT Tree‘ installation in the forum mall as part of the campaign. Designed as a symbol of strengths rooted in sustainability, the installation set the stage for discussions on environmentally friendly construction practices and responsible infrastructure development.
