Lucknow: A US citizen has been arrested without sufficient documents. Jordan Brown, who claims to be a former US soldier, was detained at the Nepal border. He was detained by the SSB when he tried to flee to Nepal without proper documentation and was apprehended with the help of locals. Videos of security personnel and locals apprehending him are being circulated on social media.

According to the police, the US national arrived in India in November 2025. He was then staying in Goa. He arrived in Nepal on July 11 without sufficient travel documents. With this, he was detained and apprehended.
Meanwhile, Jordan Brown gives different statements to the police each time during the interrogation. He claims that he studied at the University of California and served in the US Army for about six years. He also said that he quit his job in the Army two years ago.
