Idukki: The accused in the murder of his father and mother in Idukki has been arrested by the police. The double murder took place in a field near Nedumkandam. In Parathara, Antony (59) and his wife Valsamma ( 55) were killed by their son Ajeesh (26). After committing the murder, the accused captured the footage on his mobile and sent it to his relative. Ajeesh was taken into custody by the police in the incident.
The murder took place around 9:30 pm on Friday. Ajeesh used to quarrel with his parents and in a fit of rage he brutally murdered both of them. After committing the murder, the footage was captured on mobile and sent to the relative. The information came to light after the relative sent it to the parish priest.
When the locals arrived, the accused was violent with a knife. Nedumkandam police arrived and took the accused into custody after which he was able to enter the house. The couple's body was also stabbed. The bodies are in a state where the internal organs have come out. Ajeesh sustained injuries on his hand and was given first aid.
